Ohio National Guard Award of Merit Ribbon
The Ohio National Guard Award of Merit Ribbon. Awarded to members of the Ohio National Guard who attend 85 % of training assemblies and all annual training periods. For meeting this status for 5 to 25 years, numerals will be affixed to the ribbon, depending on what year total is accurate. For 35 & 40 years a bronze oak leaf and silver oak leaf cluster, respectively, are to be displayed on the ribbon. |

Ohio National Guard Basic Training Service Ribbon
The Ohio National Guard Basic Training Service Ribbon. Awarded to enlisted members of the Ohio National Guard who complete active duty basic training. Additional awards are denoted by bronze oak leaf clusters. |

Ohio National Guard Commendation Medal Ribbon
The Ohio National Guard Commendation Medal Ribbon. Awarded to service members of the Ohio National Guard who distinguish themselves through meritorious acts. Performance of normal duties that can be deemed "superior" does not merit this award, as the service must be clearly outstanding. For subsequent awards a bronze oak leaf cluster is presented, while a sixth award is shown by wearing a silver oak leaf cluster on the ribbon. |

Ohio National Guard Cross Medal Ribbon
The Ohio National Guard Cross Medal Ribbon. Awarded to any service member of the OH National Guard who sets themselves apart through an act of extreme bravery, which may include risking one's life. The act must be voluntary and be far above and beyond the call of duty. The award is so prestigious that the governor or adjutant general must present the award in an official ceremony. |

Ohio National Guard Distinguished Service Medal Ribbon
The Ohio National Guard Distinguished Service Medal Ribbon. Awarded to members of the Ohio National Guard who sets themselves apart through service where the individual put themselves in grave danger. To qualify for this award one may have had to put themselves in harm's way to aid others. For subsequent awards, a bronze oak leaf cluster is presented, while a sixth award is shown by affixing a silver oak leaf cluster to the ribbon.

The Ohio National Guard Faithful Service Ribbon. Awarded to service members of the Ohio National Guard who complete 5 years of faithful and honorable service. To qualify the service must have been efficient and the service member needs to have shown loyalty to the state. For additional awards oak leaf cluster, either bronze or silver are affixed to the ribbon. |

Ohio National Guard Recruiters Achievement Ribbon
The Ohio National Guard Recruiters Achievement Ribbon. Awarded to members of the Ohio National Guard who recruit above the assigned amount for a period of 12 months. Additional awards are represented by bronze oak leaf clusters. |

Ohio National Guard Special Service Ribbon
The Ohio National Guard Special Service Ribbon. Awarded to members of the Ohio National Guard who provide aid to civilians during times of emergency or extreme distress. This service includes protecting property and lives. For awards 2 - 5 a numeral is awarded, while a bronze oak leaf cluster represents 6 - 9 awards. For the 10th award, a silver oak leaf cluster is worn on the ribbon. |
