The New Mexico National Guard Long Service Ribbon. Awarded to members of the New Mexico National Guard who complete 5 years of honorable service in the Guard. For service of more than 10 years, numerals are affixed to denote the number of years served - in increments of 5 years. |

The New Mexico National Guard Medal of Merit Ribbon. Awarded to members of the New Mexico National Guard who provide meritorious service to the state of New Mexico. For subsequent awards bronze oak leaf clusters are presented. For 6th award a silver oak leaf cluster is affixed to the ribbon. |

The New Mexico National Guard Outstanding Service Ribbon. Awarded to members of the New Mexico National Guard who puts forth effort that is above and beyond the "normal" call of duty. The service must be notable enough to draw attention and praise to the individual. For second and subsequent awards, oak leaf clusters (bronze and silver) are presented. |

New Mexico National Guard Outstanding Unit Citation (with Gold Frame) The New Mexico National Guard Outstanding Unit Citation (with Gold Frame). Awarded to members of the New Mexico National Guard who is part of a unit that has exceeded expectations and preformed admirably. The service of the unit must clearly show that the unit went above and beyond the service of other units. In certain circumstances, a "V" device will be awarded for valor. |
