Kansas National Guard Achievement Ribbon
The Kansas National Guard Achievement Ribbon. Awarded to any solider that distinguishes themselves through an act of merit. However, this act must be of a lesser degree than one that would earn a Kansas National Guard Commendation. Subsequent awards are displayed by wearing a bronze oak leaf cluster, while a 6th award is represented by a silver oak leaf cluster. |

Kansas Air National Guard Outstanding Guardsman Ribbon
The Kansas Air National Guard Outstanding Guardsman Ribbon. Awarded to members of the Kansas Air National Guard for acts of heroism or service of a meritorious nature. Recipient rank must be E-7 and below. |

Kansas Air National Guard State Emergency Duty Service Ribbon
The Kansas Air National Guard State Emergency Duty Service Ribbon. Awarded to members of the Kansas Air National Guard who preform active duty during a time of emergency. That time is declared by the Governor and service may include protecting lives, assisting civil authority and providing aid and relief. For second and subsequent awards, a sunflower device is presented.

The Kansas Army National Guard Outstanding Guardsman Ribbon. Awarded to members of the KS National Guard, ranked E7 and below, for recognition of superior performance, acts of heroism or service of a meritorious nature. |

Kansas National Guard Commendation Medal Ribbon
The Kansas National Guard Commendation Medal Ribbon. Awarded to service members of the Kansas National Guard who perform an act or acts, meritorious in nature, that enhances the welfare of the Kansas National Guard. This is the forth highest award bestowed by the Kansas National Guard. For subsequent awards a bronze oak leaf cluster is worn, while for a sixth award a silver oak leaf cluster is displayed. |

Kansas National Guard Counter Drug Service
The Kansas National Guard Counter Drug Service Ribbon. Presented to members of the Kansas National Guard who preform counter drug operations which include supply and demand reduction as well as assisting those who suffer with substance abuse. For second and subsequent awards, a sunflower device is bestowed. |

Kansas National Guard Distinguished Service Medal Ribbon
The Kansas National Guard Distinguished Service Medal Ribbon. It is awarded to members of the Kansas National Guard who set themselves apart through exceptional service or heroic action. For subsequent awards, a bronze oak leaf cluster is worn. A silver oak leaf cluster is worn in lieu of five bronze oak leafs. When awarded for heroism, a "V" device is presented. |

Kansas National Guard Homeland Defense Ribbon
The Kansas National Guard Homeland Defense Ribbon. It is awarded to members of the Kansas National Guard who participate (for a minimum of one day and in a honorable and faithful manner) in direct support of homeland defense, post September 11th. This is a one time only award, however, if one is mobilized for airport security, then an "M" device can be awarded. |

The Kansas National Guard Medal of Excellence Ribbon. It can be awarded to members of the Kansas National Guard, as well as civilians such as public officials. The individual awarded must set themselves apart through service that is heroic and that puts their life on the line. For second award, a bronze oak leaf cluster is awarded. For sixth award, a silver oak leaf cluster is authorized, while a "V" is awarded for heroism. |

Kansas National Guard Meritorious Service Ribbon
The Kansas National Guard Meritorious Service Ribbon. It is awarded to members of the Kansas National Guard who complete a task or act that assists in well being of the Kansas National Guard. The act must distinguish the individual as being head and shoulders above their peers and represent the achievement as outstanding. Subsequent awards are shown by bronze oak leaf clusters. A silver oak leaf cluster represents 6 awards, while a "V" device is awarded for heroism. |

Kansas National Guard Service Medal Ribbon
Tthe Kansas National Guard Service Medal Ribbon. It is awarded to members of the Kansas National Guard who serve in the Kansas National Guard in active status. Awarded in the following five classes, with appurtenances bestowed accordingly.
Class 1, the ribbon will be awarded. For Class 2 -5 a sunflower device will be awarded.

Kansas National Guard Strength Management Ribbon
The Kansas National Guard Strength Management Ribbon. This is awarded to members of the Kansas National Guard that aide in recruiting and retention. NCO's that specialize in recruiting and retention are eligible for this award if they exceed their normal duties. |
