Georgia National Guard Defense Force Achievement Ribbon
The Georgia National Guard Defense Force Achievement Ribbon. This is awarded to a member of the Georgia State Defense Force, who distinguishes himself/herself by meritorious achievement or service to a lesser degree than that is required for the Commendation Ribbon. It may also be awarded to specific examples like exemplary performance, efficiency, and fidelity while serving. This ribbon is awarded in 3 different classes. Class one is awarded for extensive meritorious achievement and this is shown by the ribbon with a bronze palm. The second class is awarded to significant meritorious achievement and this is shown by the ribbon with a hourglass. The third class is awarded to meritorious achievement and this is shown by the ribbon only. |

The Georgia National Guard Defense Force Emergency Service School Ribbon. This award may be given to any member who has successfully completed five qualifying courses dealing with military or civilian emergencies by correspondence or as a resident student in a U.S. Armed Forces, National Guard, Federal or State Emergency Management Agency, or civilian school program. |

The Georgia National Guard Defense Force Legion of Merit Ribbon. It is awarded to any member of the George State Defense for exceptionally meritorious performance of outstanding services and achievements. The performance must be an exceptional manner in a key position or in an accomplishment of a critical function. The individual must have at least 10 years of exceptional service and in good standing to be honored this award. |
