a. Authorization. Established by Director General,
Multinational Force and Observers (MFO).
b. Multinational Forces and Observers Medal Eligibility Requirements. Awarded by the Director
General, MFO, to personnel of the Armed Forces who served with
the MFO for at least 90 cumulative days in the Sinai.
Subsequent awards will be denoted by an appropriate metallic numeral. Effective date of the award is 3 August 1981. This
award is not authorized for service in Lebanon.
