Coast Guard Special Operations Service Ribbon Authorized by the Commandant, U.S. Coast Guard, July 1, 1987. Awarded to any member of the Armed Forces of the United States serving in any capacity with the Coast Guard who, after July 1, 1987, participates in a Coast Guard special operation not involving combat. A bronze service star is awarded and worn on the service
ribbon to denote a subsequent award. |
