Soldiers Medal is awarded pursuant to Section 3750, 10 U.S.C. to members ofthe Armed Forces of the United States or of a friendly foreign nation who, while serving in any capacity with the U.S. Army, distinguish themselves by heroism not involving actual conflict with an enemy.
