California National Guard Achievement Ribbon California National Guard Achievement Ribbon

The California National Guard Achievement Ribbon (CAAM). It was established on June 24, 2008. It is awarded to any member of the California Army and Air National Guard of the ranks of Major and below and Sergeant First Class and below. The criteria for the CAAM: awarded to personnel who distinguished himself/herself by meritorious service or achievement of a lesser degree than required for the California Commendation Medal. This award can be earned more than once and is show by bronze, silver, or gold oak leaf clusters.

The California National Guard Commanding General's Meritorious Unit Citation with AF/Navy frame (AGMUC). It is awarded to a unit for exceptionally meritorious performance during peacetime since September 11, 2001 in difficult and challenging missions under extraordinary circumstances. The unit must have shown such outstanding dedication or mission accomplishment and superior performance of exceptionally difficult or nontraditional tasks to clearly set it apart from and above other units with similar missions. This award can only be earned one time.

he California National Guard Commanding General's Meritorious Unit Citation with Army frame (AGMUC). It is awarded to a unit for exceptionally meritorious performance during peacetime since September 11, 2001 in difficult and challenging missions under extraordinary circumstances. The unit must have shown such outstanding dedication or mission accomplishment and superior performance of exceptionally difficult or nontraditional tasks to clearly set it apart from and above other units with similar missions. This award can only be earned one time.  
California National Guard Commendation Medal Ribbon California National Guard Commendation Medal Ribbon
The California National Guard Commendation Medal Ribbon. It is awarded to any member of the California National Guard that he/she distinguishes themselves while serving in any capacity by meritorious service or achievement to the state of California or the United States. The criteria or meritorious service or achievement is accomplished with distinction but is less than what is required for the California Medal of Merit. This award can be earned more than once and is shown with bronze, silver, and gold oak leaf clusters.
California National Guard Counter Narcotics Service Ribbon California National Guard Counter Narcotics Service Ribbon

The California National Guard Counter Narcotics Service Ribbon (CACDSR). This award may be earned by any member of the California National Guard who provided support to counter drug missions on or after "Operation Border Ranger" in 1987. The ribbon may also be awarded to personnel of other military services and law enforcement agencies who provided support to counter drug field operations. This award can be earned more than once and is shown by bronze, silver, and gold service stars. 
California National Guard Drill Attendance Ribbon California National Guard Drill Attendance Ribbon
The California National Guard Drill Attendance Ribbon (CADAR). This award can be earned annually from the date of enlistment to any soldier or airman, who attends all ordered unit training assemblies and 15 days of Annual Training. This award can be earned more than once and is shown by bronze, silver, and gold service stars. 
California National Guard Enlisted Excellence Ribbon California National Guard Enlisted Excellence Ribbon
The California National Guard Enlisted Excellence Ribbon (CAEER). It is awarded during each training year to soldier's and airmen who demonstrates exemplary performance of his or her assigned duties, performs effectively during the Annual Training period, has a 95 percent or better attendance record during assigned drills, has successfully completed his or her MOS/AFSC qualification, is proficient with his or her assigned weapon, who has completed and passed the Annual Army/Air Physical Fitness Test, and whose appearance meets the established standard of the California National Guard. This award is earned more than once and it shown by silver and gold service stars. 
California National Guard Enlisted Trainers Excellence Ribbon California National Guard Enlisted Trainers Excellence Ribbon

TheCalifornia National Guard Enlisted Trainers Excellence Ribbon (CAETER). It is awarded to enlisted soldier's and airmen that have excelled in the preparation, conduct and evaluation of training, and have met the training objectives as stated in their Unit Training Programs. This award can be earned more than once and is shown by bronze, silver, and gold oak leaf clusters. 
California National Guard Federal Service Ribbon California National Guard Federal Service Ribbon
The California National Guard Federal Service Ribbon (CAFSR). This award is given to each soldier/airmen, who while serving in the California Army or Air National Guard, was inducted, mobilized, or ordered into Federal Service and served honorably in support of a Federal mission directed by the President of the United States. This award can be earned more than once and is shown by bronze, silver, and gold oak leaf clusters. 
California National Guard Good Conduct Medal Ribbon California National Guard Good Conduct Medal Ribbon
The California National Guard Good Conduct Medal Ribbon (CAGCM). It is awarded to each enlisted personnel while a member of the California National Guard, who demonstrates fidelity through faithfulness and performance of duty, efficiency through capacity to produce desired results, and whose behavior is such as to deserve emulation. You must complete a minimum of three continuous years of service starting on or after April 19, 1952. This award can be earned more than once and is shown by bronze, silver, and gold diamond devices. 
California National Guard Governor's Outstanding Unit Citation (with Gold Frame) California National Guard Governor's Outstanding Unit Citation (with Gold Frame)The California National Guard Governor's Outstanding Unit Citation with Gold Frame (CAGOUC). It is given to units/detachments who have distinguished themselves by outstanding achievement distinctly above other similar units in the California National Guard. This award can only be earned one time. 
California National Guard Medal of Merit Ribbon California National Guard Medal of Merit Ribbon
The California National Guard Medal of Merit Ribbon (CAMM). May be awarded to each person that distinguishes himself/herself by exceptionally meritorious service to the State of California or the United States, or to any person who has rendered a distinct service in furthering the interests of and in promoting the security and welfare of the State and the California National Guard. This award can be earned more than once and is shown by bronze, silver, and gold oak leaf clusters. 
California National Guard Medal of Valor Ribbon California National Guard Medal of Valor Ribbon
The California National Guard Medal of Valor Ribbon (CAMV). This award can presented to a member, while a member of the California National Guard, distinguishes himself/herself by courageous conduct at the risk of his/her life and above and beyond the call of duty. This award can be earned more than once and is shown by bronze, silver, and gold oak leaf clusters. 
California National Guard Memorial Service Ribbon California National Guard Memorial Service Ribbon

The California National Guard Memorial Service Ribbon (CAMEM). This ribbon may be presented to the next of kin of any soldier or airmen who, while serving as any Officer, Warrant Officer, or Enlisted member of the California National Guard or State Military Reserve, is killed in the service and who was performing their duty honorably. 
California National Guard Military Cross Ribbon

The California National Guard Military Cross Ribbon (CAMC). This award may be presented to a member of the California National Guard that distinguishes himself/herself by heroism. This award can be given more than once to a member and is shown by bronze, silver, and gold oak leaf clusters.
California National Guard Order of California Medal Ribbon California National Guard Order of California Medal Ribbon
The California National Guard Order of California Medal Ribbon (CAOC). It is awarded to personnel of the California National Guard, who distinguished himself or herself by exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding service to the state of California or the United States in a position of great responsibility. The performance of duty must have been such as to be within the parameters of a special requirement or of an extremely difficult duty performed in an outstanding manner. This award can be earned by civilians and members of other military services who meet the criteria. This award can be earned more than once and is shown by bronze, silver, and gold oak leaf clusters. 
California National Guard Recruiting Achievement Ribbon California National Guard Recruiting Achievement Ribbon
The California National Guard Recruiting Achievement Ribbon (CARAR). This award is to provide recognition to those that have excelled in the field of recruiting. With the exception of full time recruiters, members must secure 3 enlistments in a 12 month period. For full time recruiters within a 1 month period, an Army National Guard Recruiter must have 5 accessions. For an Air National Guard Production Recruiter, he/she must have 10 accessions. For an Air National Guard Recruiting Officer Supervisor, he/she must have 7 accessions. For an Air National Guard Recruiting and Retention NCO, he/she must have 7 accessions. This award can be earned more than once and is shown by bronze, silver, and gold service star devices. 
California National Guard Senior Enlisted Leadership Ribbon California National Guard Senior Enlisted Leadership Ribbon
The California National Guard Senior Enlisted Leadership Ribbon (CASELR). The purpose of this ribbon is to provide recognition to Army and Air National Guard Senior Enlisted Soldiers and Airmen. For First Sergeants, they must serve at least 3 years in the position, completed the First Sergeant Academy, passed physical fitness requirements, haven't been considered unfit for duty, and have not stepped down prior to completing 3 years of duty. It is the same criteria for Command Sergeants Major and Chief Master Sergeants. This award can be earned more than once and is shown by bronze and silver diamonds, and bronze, silver, and gold service stars. 
California National Guard Service Medal Ribbon California National Guard Service Medal Ribbon
The California National Guard Service Medal Ribbon (CASM). This award is given to personnel of the California National Guard who has served for 10 years of combined service. Succeeding awards will be issued for a period of 5 years of service. This is shown by silver and gold Redwood Clusters. 
California National Guard State Service Ribbon California National Guard State Service Ribbon
The California National Guard State Service Ribbon (CASSR). This ribbon is earned by serving on active duty with the State during a period of emergency declared by the Governor, or while the United States is engaged in war. Only one ribbon is earned for each emergency no matter how many different periods or locations are involved. This award can be earned more than once and is shown by bronze, silver, and gold diamonds.
